my mom asks if my friends are more important than here and I would say "yeah they are" because at least they aren't emotionally abusive and actually support me thru stuff. like even people that I meet randomly online are better than my mom. I'm Asian and my moms somewhat strict so I have 1 hr screen time everyday and I'm 14. and she doesn't let me use my phone for any occasions for like weeks straight. most of my friends are online or they talk online are online so I don't talk to them and when I get back I actually lose some friends because they think I don't like them or something. it gets so annoying too. my mom constantly vents to her boyfriend for like 2-3 hours everyday and I'm stuck at school AND afterschool until 6-6:30 and I get 1 hr? idk how that fair but to my mom its fair because she makes money and cooks. those 2 things. while I'm trying to have good grades for the future and I do the dishes and laundry and I cook too. my friends are more important than my mom.
